It takes time, and pressure, and heat…to make a crystal.
All the power and intensity that went into each crystal is present within it and available for you to tap in to.
I have always believed that you don’t need to know anything at all about crystals to choose one that is right for you. No information in a book or from any expert can lead you to a better crystal than your own instinct. If you are attracted to something and desire it, that is a good indication that you are responding to its vibration and that excitement you feel is the beginning of resonating along with it. If you have those feelings, you can feel confident that that particular stone is calling out to you for a partnership.
I choose all of the stones I sell myself and each one is, I believe, special. When I decided to buy crystals to share with other people, I had to change my approach a bit. It was no longer about which stones I wanted for myself. Now when I go out to find stones, I put myself into an altered state in which I am open to inspiration about what may be the right stone for someone else. I see myself as a bit of a matchmaker and I am looking for all types of personalities, hoping to meet up with a customer who connects with the beautiful stone I’ve found.
CLEANSING AND CHARGING YOUR CRYSTAL
I believe it is almost impossible for a crystal to hold negative energy. But they do seem to feel sort of sluggish or foggy sometimes, as if the battery is low. Sometimes they are just plain dusty; other times they are still impressed with the energy of a previous owner or environment, as if they are still resonating to those other energies, singing an old song.
It is always good to clear the energy of a new crystal when it comes to you, just to re-set it and energize it and to open a space for you to connect with it without interference.
The easiest way I have found is to run cold water over it while you visualize it being cleared of anything that doesn’t belong to it. You can visualize it getting shinier and brighter, like a sun rising, until that incredible radiance fills up all the space and the space between the space. Nothing that is a lower frequency will be able to stick to it.
Breath deep and trust yourself to know.
